Rotary Botanical Gardens is an award-winning 20-acre, botanic garden with many multiple different garden styles and thousands of varieties of plants. Visitors to the Gardens may enjoy guided garden tours, shopping, and a variety of educational classes and programs. The elegant facility is also available for special event rentals. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic to RBG. We have a wonderful Terrace Garden that is available to the public, with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. Please note that this area may be rented out. To confirm availability, please contact us at 608.752.3885. Please, no carry-in alcoholic beverages on the Garden grounds.
The Garden only allows certified service animals that assist people with disabilities on site (no pets.) To learn more about ADA requirements,
The Garden makes every effort to remain open during posted hours although the Garden reserves the right to close due to inclement weather.
FREE parking is available at the Gardens. Vans and buses may drop off visitors at the entrance of the Parker Education Center and park in the lot or on Palmer Drive.
RBG is 95% accessible with some areas in the Japanese garden being challenging due to steps and bridges. There are also many moderate slopes that visitors should be aware of upon arrival. Please ask for an “accessibility map” that highlights not only the challenging slopes but also the level paths that have minimal challenges.
As a courtesy to guests, RBG has several wheelchairs available for use at RBG at no cost. They are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
